The MT550 is an easy to use digital insulation and continuity tester in a single, compact handheld unit, which provides maximum versatility for both troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The MT550 offers three insulation test ranges: 250V, 500V and 1000V together with 200mA short current for continuity range and 200Ω and 200kΩ resistance range. The MT550 measures AC/DC voltage, battery voltage indication, a continuity buzzer, data hold function and LED backlight.
The MT550 features a large LCD screen that indicates the insulation resistance together with the output voltage during the insulation test. Once the test is complete the circuit under test will be automatically discharged. For hands-free operation the MT550 comes with a continuous lock function
